Amsterdam has a gratifying nightlife. One of the best things about the city is that it knows how to party and that it has got the best when the sun goes down. The city makes sure that there is no scarcity of nightspots for tourists. It is teeming with age-old nocturnal tradition with a touch of ultimate trendiness.

There are a lot of old and modern bars, pubs, and nightclubs where you can party all night long or just chill out with friends. The nightlife establishments are as diverse as the city’s inhabitants. The same goes for the coffee shops in Amsterdam. Experiencing the city’s nightlife is a must. If you want to revel and party like there is no tomorrow, you will.

Early evening is the rest period of the fascinating Dutch capital. But after the quiet hours, the city’s squares and streets get very busy and vibrant at night. Large flocks of tourists always invade the entire area of the Red Light District. They walk in the streets and look at the glass windows with sexy, nude girls. Nearby cafes and restaurants are filled with people having the time of their lives.

Around Leidseplein are the Stadsschouwburg and many other theatres, lots of restaurants and cafes, cinemas, the Lido theatre with live entertainment, and the casino. You will also find here the famous music and cultural centers, Sugar Factory, and establishments offering various music programs: pop, rock, rap, dance, and world music, with big-name bands.

Rembrandtplein is also a busy area of bars and clubs, cinemas, and cafes. Nes is a small street that traditionally attracts the theater crowd. Nearby cafes attract this intellectual bunch. Young people frequent the old area of Jordan.
